Mobile phone addiction is a state in which a person can't resist his or her phone. They want their phone near them every time no matter what they are doing and where they are

Sadly most of the urban teens are addicted to their mobile phones.

Now mobile phone addiction is hard to recover. This is because no matter what but nowadays you can't avoid using mobile devices. These devices though small but are incredibly powerful, and are very compact. So this becomes the primary digital device that we all carry with ourselves.
As the phone is always with us therefore it is difficult to overcome this Addiction.
But the good news is that it is possible.

As i said in my earlier post that to overcome any addiction, a new habit must be created to replace the addiction effectively.
Same case is with this too.

So without any further a do lets move on to the steps to overcome mobile phone addiction.

STEP 1 - Set up and shut up your phone.
Set up your phone in such a way that you are distracted to the minimum extent. Mute unnecessary notifications, instead of auto syncing your mails, set it up to 2 - 3 times a day only.
This way you can avoid many notifications, you won't waste your time and you will save some extra juice in your phone.

STEP 2 -  Create no phone time zones at home
Set up time zones when you would not use your phone.
For eg - Not using your phone from noon to 1400 hrs or till lunch.

STEP 3 - Turn your phone off before going to the bed
Yes turn your phone off before hitting your bed.
This will help you get a good and sound sleep due to reduced radiation levels near you.
If you worry about your alarm then you need to know that today's smartphones are beasts. Your alarm will still ring when your phone is off.

STEP 4 - Use your phone to your advantage.
There are plenty of apps out there both on the playstore and the app store.
One of the apps is AppDetox. It lets you to limit the time you use your phone.
You should give it a try.

STEP 5 - Danger tip
Warning: follow this tip of you are really really brave.
If you are really brave enough then you can switch to a feature phone.
Sounds awkward but yes.
There would be no reason left to be addicted to your phone.
